Add Comment Question: Hello there. In September of this year, 2 positions let's call them as position A & position B were posted in my department at the company I work. Candidates 1, 2, 3 applied for position A and candidates 2, 3, 4 applied for position B. After interviews in mid October & early November, candidate 1 was not offered position A but was handed position B for which the person did not apply. Is this right? and what are your suggestions. Thank you. Answer: the company can choose to manage their workforce how they want so legally speaking there is nothing wrong with what the company did.
