My name is David Vaughan and I am an employment lawyer with Samfiru Tumarkin. If you find a new job during the "working notice period" and quit prior to the termination date, you would not be entitled to common law pay in lieu of reasonable notice of termination. However, you may be entitled to severance entitlements depending on when you resign. Please contact our firm to discuss this matter in more detail and determine whether we can assist you.
