My company is refusing to give me anymore vacation time, the only senior person in my office has 5 weeks, and my employer is telling me I will remain at 4 weeks vacation. Is the legal?we were both hired under the same contract with the same employer. My company was purchased approximately 6 years ago, and we were told in the purchase that our contract with the original organization would remain in place with the purchasing company. In October of this year I would be at 15 years of service, and my employer is telling me that I will remain at 4 weeks, even though the only other senior in my office has 5 weeks vacation?

Nobody is legally entitled to. More than 3 weeks vacation in Ontario so I'd your employer already provides 4 weeks they don't have to give you 5 weeks due to your siniority.
