My employer has lied about the reason for my dismissal. On my RoE that I got today it says I quit and that for further details to contact the supervisor. I didn’t quit, while I was looking for other employment I had not put in my two weeks notice yet. The biggest reason they gave me, was my recent streak of absences due to being sick. Stating my recent mental health day was an excuse. They never wrote me up for absenteeism or anything related to what they said at the time. I had reported them prior to the health and safety board for harassment as well. They never gave me written notice about my dismissal either despite being required to by law. According to another previous employee they wrote the exact same on his RoE despite telling him that he was laid off, gave him written notice and everything.
