Good afternoon. I was just reading one of the posts on this site and it is similar to what I am going through. I worked at a business that is one of many owned by a larger company. I live in Ontario and had agreed to a severance salary continuance. However, the paper I signed was called a Full and Final Release that referred to the offer as Schedule A. The Release paper had both the business name and a legal name, and the offer has only the business name. The offer was the business name will pay me the salary. Will they keep paying my salary if they change the business name or the legal name or even both names?

Thank you for your question. A change in the company's name would not impact the severance agreement whatsoever.
