Back in June I quit my job of 11 years for another job. After 5 weeks realized it wasn't the right fit so I returned to old job. Signed a agreement with nothing said of my 11 years. Got same pay vacation benefits etc... is my years services continuest just in case of termination

Hello,

Whether your years of service prior to your departure are included depends on the understanding of the parties. Often times, there will not be an explicit agreement that your prior years of service will be recognized but this can be implied from the circumstances.

For instance, if you had been provided with additional vacation time prior to your departure due to your seniority and this additional vacation was maintained upon your return, then this implies that your prior years of service were recognized.

If you were immediately re-enrolled in benefits, this can also imply that your past years of service were recognized upon your return.
