If signed employment agreements say a M-F 7 hr work day, are hours over 7 and weekends at 1.5 even though BC says after 8 hrs or 40 hrs per week

Unless you contract explicitly states otherwise, you would not be entitled to overtime pay if your hours of work do not exceed 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. There are exceptions - for example, if you are a manager, you are generally not entitled to overtime pay.
