Just recently the senior manager started imposing different rules on my style of work. He has been putting my management style down in front of the staff and indicating that they are not being managed properly (indirectly implying me as the manager). I took time off because of the stress the situation is causing me. I have close to 10 weeks of paid sick time with my employer. I gave a medical note indicating that I will be off for 3 weeks for stress related issues. My HR has told me that I will be contacted by the insurance company regarding my absence. I don’t understand why my medical leave needs to “validated” although I have provided a medical note and I still have paid sick leave available. I feel like the senior management is looking for a constructive way of dismissing me. Do I have any rights as an employee? This situation is further adding stress for me."When your employer terminates your employment with working notice, they advise you that your employment will end at a future date. For example, your employer could tell you today that your last day working with the company will be in six months." However, my Termination package containing a "Working Notice Period" for the coming 25 weeks but with the "Termination Date" being the start of the notice period instead of a future date ending it. Would this qualify as wrong dismissal? My doctor signed me to a 4 day work week. Can my employer refuse this? Can they also make the doctor fill out a detailed medical assessment. For them to determine if they can accommodate me.I am currently on Ltd, have been on it four 4.5 years and runs out at 5 years. Does the employer owe me severance pay . I am unable to return to work. Some that when insurance runs out the employer will give me my separation papers. My company is trying to change my contract for the second time in 6 months. They are now trying to change my job focus (basically adding a ton of new duties in another field) and taking away my ability to earn commission. They also mentioned in a phone call they are hoping to get feedback tomorrow, and in the summary email they sent they are basically imposing these changes with a line in bold saying "All of the following changes would go into effect July 1, 2022." And well today is June 14 th. I should mention that they are trying to increase my base salary by $10K/yr but my commission (with their last Quarter goal) can reach $20K on the next 6 months alone. My question is, this sounds very much like Imposing Fundamental Changes to my contract, and I am wondering if there is a time frame they have to give me for me to accept or decline by law? Seems 2 weeks notice to be a very small timeframe to accept or decline this changes. Previous Next Page 24 of 203
