An employee has been charged with two counts of first degree murder for the death of his sons and we are wondering what our options are.

If an employee has been charged with a crime, there is always a presumption of innocence until proven guilty and these charges alone would probably not constitute just cause at law. Your best option is to place the employee on an administrative leave of absence until the criminal proceedings are concluded.
