I WAS FIRED FOR NO REASONS DURING MY PROBATORY PERIOD. I WORKED HARDER THAN THE REST OF THE TEAM AND I KNOW THAT WAS THE REAL CAUSE: THEY ASKED ME TO TAKE IT SLOW AND BE LAZY LIKE THEM, BUT I KEPT WORKING AS I USUAL DO IN ALL MY PREVIOUS JOBS. SO THE LAST THING I HEARD FROM HR IS THAT I WAS FIRED BECAUSE I DIDNT FIX, BUT THEY NEVER TOLD ME WHAT"FIX" MEANT FOR THEM?

Thanks for writing to us. You may be owed either reasonable notice of your termination or pay in lieu thereof. Use our Ontario Severance Pay Calculator (www.severancepaycalculator.com) to find out how much you may be owed, and give us a call at the number below to discuss your situation in more detail. We would be happy to help in any way we can.
