I have been a part-time employee for a golf course for 9 years. For many of the staff it was seasonal work, however they often needed my help in the winter months and I was kept on. The schedule was put up by the newest manager and I am simply not on it. I was given no reason, and I haven't been spoken too. My e-mail hasn't had a response. When I called the head of operations I was told my attitude had been negative in the last few shifts--I had been complaining. No complaints from members or customers,, just the new manager however there was absolutely nothing wrong with my performance. Is it legal to not say anything to the employee ---just not schedule them? for something that is not even a fireable offence, and they have no actual proof of? People can have bad days!! I feel discriminated against, and after this length of time, loyalty and hard work don't they have to actually speak to me if they don't want me to be there?

This may amount to a termination of your employment, in which case you would be entitled to termination pay. Please contact our firm to discuss the matter in more detail and visit the Free Severance Calculator (http://www.severancepaycalculator.com/) to determine how much termination pay you may be owed.
