Can part time employees be paid on different pay period setups (most part-time staff biweekly, others monthly)? Can the monthly pay period staff request biweekly pay periods?

As an employer you have the obligation to establish a regular recurring pay period and a recurring pay day. Employees cannot dictate what that pay period is, but for simplicity's sake, employers typically pay their employees, part time or full time, on the same pay cycle and pay date. This is something that can be written into an employment contract, which is an absolute necessity for every employer.
