Add Comment Question: Why did I get terminated without cause effective immediately from my job AFTER handing in my resignation? I am aware it is legal for a business to do this but would it of not made more sense to let me go early and not give me a letter of termination without cause? It is important that they continue to pay you during that notice of resignation period and they may have provided you with the termination letter to indicate that they intend to that.
