Hi I am 28 years old I just got a new job and there is a test for the job and I am dyslexic and I don't know if I should tell the employer or not I know they can't fire me for being dyslexic but I've been looking through the textbooks they given me and I'm freaking out and nervous I think it might be too hard for me I don't know what to do

Hello,

I would recommend advising your employer of your medical condition, as I don't see the harm in telling them. As you said, if they terminate you as a result of your medical condition it would very likely be a breach of the Ontario Human Rights Code.
