Background: I've been on LTD for over a year now due to stress and anxiety. My insurance havre been sending me payments at the end of the month . Im currently on gradual back to work program.
However I recently accepted a job else where . I start on November 20th. I wanted information on the correct procedure to quit my job.

1. When do I give my resignation notice to my current employer? (I haven't worked for a year) can it be immediately or 2weeks notice ?
2.Should I notify my insurance of my resignation or should leave it up to my employer?
3. I receive disability payments from insurance at the end of every month. Will payments stop immediately after I notify my employer of my resignation?

Please let me know as soon as possible.

I look forward to your response.

Regards,
Tamer
