I have a company and my wife owns 49 % of the company and did all the book work and banking , it is just a two person company. Now we had a fall out and she left my , and she refused to do the bookwork, so I got an other book keeper. Now she changed her mind and do the accounting again , I said to late I have some else . So now she went to the labor board and charge me with wrong fully dismissel. Can she get away with this we are now filling for separation the lawyers are working on it now.Than you

If you wife is an owner of the company, it's likely that she cannot also be considered an employee. However, before you respond to her Ministry of Labour claim, I would encourage you to speak with one of our employment lawyers. We would be happy to advise you on how to proceed and assist you through the process.
