Can your employer send a request to your doctor for your medical file, after you submitted information/documentation to support your request for a schedule accomadaton from your doctor. I broke my femur/hip in 2015.06/02 returned to work in Oct2015. Then in June 2016,I was informed by position would changed , back on phones and my hours/shifts and days would be changed as well.

Your employer is not entitled to access to your medical file without your express authorization. Your employer is entitled to medical information which would support and provide further information regarding any medical issues you have which impact your work.
