Hi if you feel there is a possibility that you may be asked to take onore work, or they take away some work to fine you this work, what should you do? There has been rumbling about the funders reducing admin costs so I'm thinking they may redistribute work. How much notice is required for a 25 year employee in a supervisor role that may need to take on more regular tasks in Ontario at a non profit centre?

The employer cannot change your role or pay without adequate notice. You will need to dispute any changes promptly in order to protect your ability to claim a constructive dismissal and trigger your severance pay. I encourage you to contact us to have the facts reviewed by one of our lawyers so that you understand with your options are. Your entitlements are extensive after 25 years of service and you need to proactively protect your interest.
