March 13 2016
I'm currently holding a manegerial role at a company in Toronto, on. I have signed an employment contract with a probation period of 6 months (ending in april 2016).Termination by employee is 2 months notice.
I have been offered a new job and would like to resign from my position. Note my probabation period ends in april 2016.
Given the foregoing, my question is whether my contract is binding ? Can I quit with just a 4 weeks(1 month) notice in liue of 2 months ?

We would need to review your employment contact as well as get further particulars of your employment. Please contact our office to schedule a consultation with one of our lawyers.
