Was moving to a different province- my employer said I could still work remotely for the company but had to work out some stuff with HR- 3 weeks go by- assuming I’m working remotely. No one told me different. 2 days before my move they told me that I couldn’t work remotely so I had to quit.

Thank you for your question. If your employer agreed that you could work remotely in the new province, and then subsequently withdrew their agreement, essentially terminating your employment, you would be owed severance pay based on the principle of "constructive dismissal."
