There were problems at our work place with the Executive Director and the Board hired an employment firm to speak with employees. It seems the conversations ended up including talk any other employees. Now staff are talking about who said what about others. Are employees entitled to find out what was said about them during this questioning?

Thank you for contacting our firm.

During workplace investigation interviews, other employees are generally not entitled to be advised what was said. The exception may be if disclosure is required to allow an employee to defend him or herself from allegations.

Confidentiality in the process is important to maintain.
