I was terminated from my job due to not calling the manager when l called in to report l was sick with the flu. I'm under a contract with my job which does states to call. I really forgot to call due to being really sick with the flu. I'm fighting this with my union which all they say is our job is to get you back. Now l need to be reassessed from a dr which the money comes out of my pocket living on EI income.
