I have worked for the same company for over 28 years and it is time to retire. I am considering giving them just over 2 months notice. If they accept my resignation and tell me to leave right away. Do they have to pay me up until the retirement day I gave them or is my last day worked the last day I will be paid for.

Thank you for your question. Yes, the Company would be required to pay you up to the retirement date if you give notice. If they let you go and refuse to pay please contact us right away.
