Hello, I got laid off and got a severance package. The package contains 2 ways of a payment. The first way is a lump sum pay and the second way is an income protection for 22 weeks. My question is: what's happened in a situation that if I choose the second option which is the income protection for the 22 weeks and I found a job during this time? Should I let them know? Can I get both income? Am I obligated to share this information with the company that I was laid off from? Can they find out? Thanks for your answer
