Can i put a full time employee to part time if i down size me business

I have been working remote since I was hired three years ago. I have a Remote Work Agreement in place that stipulates my primary work location is my home address. My employer is enforcing return to office, stating that I can be fired with cause if I do not comply because they have given me six weeks notice of the return to office mandate. Wondering if this is true or if this is just another threat from an employer trying to get people to quit instead of paying us our severance. Thank you.

Hello In regards to Bill 124 I worked as a manager for the LCBO from 2015 to August 2023. I resigned, in good standing. (non union position) They have recently paid the managers "retro" pay for the correction of Bill 124. Am I ? / I feel I am entitled to the retro pay as I had worked with the LCBO during the Bill 124 period of 2019 to approx 2022. Is there a legal potential for me to be entitled to the retro pay?
